I had an extraction on my 36 on Monday, I've followed what little directives I received. Now, Friday, I have been feeling consistent pain that has increased in the past two days, the taste in my mouth is horrid, the site feels cold and my jaw on the left side hurts. The site looks brown and white.
I had all my top teeth extracted and 4 bone grafts done 1 week ago. Immediate denture were put in right away. Experiencing pain still.. is this normal? Should i sleep with my dentures in?
Canine tooth #11 never came in when I was young, so now that I'm older, I had bone graft put in to build bone for implant. It has been 1 week post surgery and my nose feels swollen. I feel like Dr. put in too much bone and the way he stitched the gumline makes me unable to move my upper lip and my nose looks weird. Is that normal? should I give it more time to heal. It feels really awkward. I called his office and they said he puts in more bone than necessary because it will go down with time.
I just got bone grafting for future implant 6 days ago. However I think I can see bone and that the gum has has been lost. I'm getting really worried if then I want be able to place the provisional tooth and that the bone grafting is failing
I had a bone graft 5 days ago. Sutures are still in place, membrane seems to have dissolved. Bone fragments were coming out frequently prior to today, however when I looked today I see several gaps or holes surround the bone graft. I call my dentist who didn't seem concerned because I'm not experiencing increased pain or other symptoms. I am on an antibiotic also. Is this normal for healing or do I need to re do this procedure? Thank you
I had a root canal go bad and one of the roots split off towards my back bottom tooth and down to bone and has gotten infected due to a hole that formed in the root canal and caused the back tooth next to it got a cavity, decayed and had multiple abscesses. Had root canal removed a week ago and bone graft. Cant root canal decayed tooth until this heals some. Stitches came out and its a hole, more painful and now has multiple abscesses below and one above. This just doesnt seem right!
Last Tuesday I got #2 and #20 extracted and bone grafts as well. Successful procedure. My stitches came out about 5-6 days later. I'm no longer in pain except for the gum on the inner side of #1. It feels kinda loose and flabby if that makes sense. It hurts because the swelling is making it go past that tooth so when I bite subconsciously it hurts. Is swelling next to the extracted tooth normal or is something wrong?
Since I have been eating soft food, I have not noticed it. But now that Im able to eat more food with comfort I noticed it. I even wiggles it to make sure I wasnt imagining it. Is it normal for my tooth to be loose? With it be ok?
I just got a bone graft and anchor placed 1.5 weeks ago... the doc removed the stitches a couple of days ago... I noticed today that it looks like the membrane is coming out... should I be concerned by this? My next appt is still 3 weeks out to remove the membrane.
I had a bone graft this past Monday. Im taking antibiotics 3 times a day and doing a warm salt rinse twice a day. Im concerned at the look of my gums and how far down it is, maybe one of my stitches is loose? Also, a little white has come out. My surgeon isnt open until Monday so I was hoping to get some input. Thank you for any information or insight.
