Canine tooth #11 never came in when I was young, so now that I'm older, I had bone graft put in to build bone for implant. It has been 1 week post surgery and my nose feels swollen. I feel like Dr. put in too much bone and the way he stitched the gumline makes me unable to move my upper lip and my nose looks weird. Is that normal? should I give it more time to heal. It feels really awkward. I called his office and they said he puts in more bone than necessary because it will go down with time.
