I am an 84 year old man with a large lipoma on my lower back, right side. It is about 5 inches in diameter, and is beginning to cause a little pain. I am in good health, with a blood clotting disfunction since birth, Am I a candidate for Coolsclpting to remove the lipona
I previously had a dvt 20 yrs ago, and was since diagnosed with factor v homogeneous. I'm ready to commit to the coolsculpting for my abdomen, but concerned about increasing my risk of a clot. I'm not on and thinners, I was taking the birth control pill at the time of the clot and have not had any reoccurance since that time.
I got a blood clot when I was pregnant and was on blood thinner. Now I am off the blood thinner but I have to use it again if I get pregnant again or travel long distances. Is there any risks for me to get coolsculpting? I heard of fat embolism, is it something coolsculpting can give you as a side effect? Thank you for your time.
