Hi I got a Co2 laser, subcision and morpheus8 for my scarring. I have had previous RF microneedling and no problem. However after the laser my skin texture changed. I have hipermpigmentation but I also see orange peel and texture. Can doctors please confirm what happened? And if there is a solution for this what can I do? Is is scarring?
Orange peel and acne scars Hello, What treatments can I do to improve my skin texture? Ive have microneedling, chemical peels, one round of clear and brilliant, and Ive tried PRP. My acne scars have improved, but minimally. I would like to know if there are any other options to improve my skin texture.
Hello! I had RF microneedling done, which unfortunately left me with horrible skin. Indented scars, melted and orange-peel like skin-texture,. My dermatologist gave me tretinoin 0.5%, which despite conservative usage and sun protection started causing scarring. I'm going to have CO2 laser done now, but I'm worried about it going wrong as well. Can I expect my skin to be fully restored? What setting should I ask for? How many times should I do it? Its been 3 months.
Hello Im a female asian with type II skin. I got co2 laser done 4 times (spaced 1 month apart) and the last one was 2 months ago. I noticed I have these gridline patterns, orange-peel texture, and shallow pinprick holes that seem to get worse and more visible when wearing makeup. The plastic surgeon who did this said that the energy used was 32 (I had no acne scars, just PIE and PIH). Could he possibly damaged my skin? Will these ever go away? And what products would you recommend?
I had an ablative co2 done for my acne scars a few months ago. However I had a terrible sun exposure about 3 weeks post procedure that Im sure has left my skin damaged :( I was really torn up about it but Ive just been moving forward with fraxel and other treatments and trying not think about it too much. However my skin has an orange peel texture now. Im not sure if I should get another co2 at some point to resurface my skin. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
I got a fully ablative CO2 laser 7 months ago and have been struggling with a horrendous texture that appeared after and has seemingly worsened in the past 3 months. The skin is glossy/shiny. It has a rough texture with hypertrophic bumps everywhere. The skin doesnt look like skin. I can only go outside at night. Is it post-laser milia? Is it scarring? Is it recoverable from?
I have CO2 in December last year. Acne scars did not improve at all. Now 8 months after, I have a dotted pattern that goes across my face looks like my pores are enlarge. They are not my pores are small oval dots and all go in horizontal lines. Makeup make them worse. Are those permanent? My surgeon did not give me an advice, only an apology for no meeting my expectectations.??? Attached some pictures looks like orange peel effect. Picture of my forehead and cheek. What I can do to get rid of that?
had Co2 laser 6 weeks ago. still pretty pink but my biggest concern is the overal texture seems almost like an orange peel . the pores seem very large and the acne scarring is about the same but unfortunately now each mark is red so that it is even more noticeable. any suggestions as to good creams etc ? is this normal or I should be concerned ?
I apologize for asking so many questions lately. I was wondering if there are any dermatologists or plastic surgeons on here that can fix the orange peel texture I got from having a CO2 fractional 6 weeks ago. I will travel anywhere. This and inflammation is the only complication i'm experiencing so far. Is there a way to fix it without using another laser? I'm terrified of lasers now and scared to make it worse or deplete facial fat like others have said. What else can I do? I'm desperate.
I have searched the entire website, the internet and called my doctor but I still have no answer. I am almost 2 months post op and my skin in the last two weeks feels bumpy-like a million tiny bumps under the skin ( they look like milia but cant be removed). My pores suddenly look giant and makeup looks bad.The question has been asked many times, but no direct answer. Is the orange peel texture a complication, a part of the healing process, is it permanent?
