6 week post Co2 fractional laser and my skin is pink, bad texture. Is this normal? (Photo)

had Co2 laser 6 weeks ago. still pretty pink but my biggest concern is the overal texture seems almost like an orange peel . the pores seem very large and the acne scarring is about the same but unfortunately now each mark is red so that it is even more noticeable. any suggestions as to good creams etc ? is this normal or I should be concerned ?

you need a formal evaluation as there are options with vascular lasers, LED therapy, and skin care to help calm the inflammation.  You are still healing and need it to be formally evaluated.  I am unsure why only the one cosmetic unit was treated, that makes this more noticable.  Please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question. CO2 is used to tighten the skin and reduce pigmentation. it is recommended to pretreat with a topical hydroquinone to prevent hypopigmentation. wait 6 months to see if your concerns resolve. co2 results take up to 6 months.
