Bumpy skin and large pores after fully ablative CO2 normal? (Photos)

Question

I have searched the entire website, the internet and called my doctor but I still have no answer. I am almost 2 months post op and my skin in the last two weeks feels bumpy-like a million tiny bumps under the skin ( they look like milia but can’t be removed). My pores suddenly look giant and makeup looks bad.The question has been asked many times, but no direct answer. Is the orange peel texture a complication, a part of the healing process, is it permanent?

It can take several weeks for laser results to settle. I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care and recommendations. PDT therapy and lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) can give improvement. I also recommend skin care with vitamin c, b5 hydrator, silicone based scar gels with growth factors and enzymatic washes with papaya enzyme. Sun protection is essential. Typically I do a combination of lasers like clear and brilliant, fraxel, viva 4-6 weeks after co2 to improve this along with microneedling/prp to get the best outcomes with texture and tone. Usual to see this reaction, a before and after posted on this site will help us understand the situation. Following fully ablative laser resurfacing, skin can take up to 6 months to get the final result. It has been 2 months post operatively, I usually perform my before and afters 3-4 mths, side by side comparison with the same lighting. If you could post some photos at this time line, we could perhaps comment?
