Hello, I did chin liposuction 6 months ago. There is currently some unevenness and a dent, but more crucial - the skin didn't shink. I went to the doctor 2 months ago and he claimed that the area looks great and all these issues will go away soon. I spoke with him yesterday, he told me that it is probably the maximum your skin can reach and maybe cosmetic procedures will help. Please advise is there anything I can do to to improve the situation, or is it lost?
A follow up of my previous question: I am 37 years old, I am not over 50. The chin liposuction took place 6 months ago. Now I have this loose skin and unevenness. I am attaching also the photo before the surgery. My doctor says he is not responsible anymore since he can't guarantee how well will the skin sit and tighten. Is it lost or is there is anything that can be done to improve the situation?
I had chin lipo done Aug 19, 2021. From the beginning I noticed one side had more fat left over than the other. Now that Im healed up I see lumps and bumps, unevenness, lines, etc. my surgeon said he can do a revision to take off a little more fat around my jaw line but Im nervous its going to look worse. What would you recommend? Leaving as is? Or doing the revision?
I got chin lipo about 6 months ago. My right side profile appears to have a better result than the left, which has still had a little bulge. Would I benefit from a revision or would coolmini and/or kybella yield similar results without having to undergo surgery again?
Hello, I am 2 years post facelift and chin liposuction. I have unevenness or asymmetry under the right side of my chin. It sort of looks like a lump or a left over fat pocket. I am worried that this could be also skin. This asymmetry was present from the first month post op. Unfortunately my plastic surgeon retired 4 months after I had this suregry so I have no one to go back to. Can you please give your opinion on what you think this it is?
I had chin lipo done 5 weeks ago- she also did my jaw and neck area. Ive noticed since the procedure that the left side of my face looks larger and sags more than my right. Im worried that it wont even out since Im already 5 weeks out? She says it will- but I dont trust that shes telling me the truth I feel like shes just trying to dismiss me. Also curious is the lumpy/wavy area underneath my chin will smooth out or is it permanently lumpy?
Im 23 years old, last year I had chin lipo and I really liked the results at first but after awhile I started to notice a lot of loose/uneven skin that hasnt gone away. Only time my jaw line looks more defined is when I stretch it or I'm looking up but when Im looking down at my phone or reading a book the loose/uneven skin is so obvious. What are my options to fix this?
Post op 15 months from facetite, chin lipo and platysmaplasty. Just started laser for scar improvement. Wondering if there is anything non surgically I can do to improve the area to the side of the incision that is puckered out. Also anything I can do to help with the vertical lines in the skin when stretching my neck out, Im mid 30s and I feel like that ages me. Edited to add before and after photos.
