I'm 19 year old and my hands are very scaly, dry and wrinkled. It is also a little tanned. Would it be helpful if I try a chemical peel for my hands ? If yes could you please suggest which one and if no then what am I supposed to do about this condition ?
I have rugged, dry skin on my body. I've self-diagnosed myself with keratosis pilaris as well as xerosis. My hands feel fine but the skin on my forarms and hands look thick, with deep cracks between pores. Looks like elephant skin. My shins are smooth when moisturized but looks cracked. Cracks have never bleed or oozed, just looks unappealing. I also have faint brown scaring from KP on upper arms. I also have olive skin that tans too easily. Would routine chemical peels help texture and look?
For two years, my hands were directly exposed to sunlight while driving my scooter. The temperatures were more than 38 degrees and the UV index was very high and I remember that my hands used to burn. My arms are completely normal because I used to wear a sweat shirt but I did not wear gloves on my hands. Now, I have tanned hands which look completely abnormal if compared to my hands. I wear sunscreen everyday and I have tried a lot of other things but nothing has worked. Will chemical peel help?
I am 66, and have no brown spots on my hands. I have wrinkles. I just had a chemical peel for $75.00 two weeks ago, and but could only keep the cotton glove on for three days. My skin is peeling fine. My hands look a little better. Did I do ok?
Hi, I've used some products that were very strong containing both glycolic and lactic acid to get rid of unevenness and bad discolorations on my feet, legs, arms and hands. I peeled for a while and now this is what happened after the peel . I turned burned and 300% times darker . Help please
