Chemical peel on hands for $75.00. Could only wear gloves for three days.

I am 66, and have no brown spots on my hands. I have wrinkles. I just had a chemical peel for $75.00 two weeks ago, and but could only keep the cotton glove on for three days. My skin is peeling fine. My hands look a little better. Did I do ok?
