For two years, my hands were directly exposed to sunlight while driving my scooter. The temperatures were more than 38 degrees and the UV index was very high and I remember that my hands used to burn. My arms are completely normal because I used to wear a sweat shirt but I did not wear gloves on my hands. Now, I have tanned hands which look completely abnormal if compared to my hands. I wear sunscreen everyday and I have tried a lot of other things but nothing has worked. Will chemical peel help?

Thanks for the question, and that is certainly a concern for darker skinned patients with peels or laser treatments. I would recommend doing a "test" spot in one or a few areas to see how your skin responds before proceeding with the entire face.
