How can I recover from this chemical peel burn on feet and hands? (Photo)

Hi, I've used some products that were very strong containing both glycolic and lactic acid to get rid of unevenness and bad discolorations on my feet, legs, arms and hands. I peeled for a while and now this is what happened after the peel . I turned burned and 300% times darker . Help please

Thank you for your question. There are many Chemical  Peels that have different stages of recovery and results. It is hard to say by your picture alone if this is a normal result. Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for treatment options.

Hello Jaibell,I would recommend you be evaluated in person by either a facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon, or dermatologist as long as the person is experienced in chemical peels.  Although the ingredients you listed are designed to be superficial in nature, they can go deeper if certain procedures are not followed both during and after the procedure.  The risks of using chemical peels in an uncontrolled manner are much greater than that in a controlled environment such as a physician's office.  When performed incorrectly, scarring is possible.  Because of this you should be seen by a specialist to provide a much better evaluation (as this could represent a deeper burn, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, persistent erythema, contact dermatitis to the ingredients, etc.).
