I am 45 and don't have much in the wrinkle department, thanks to genetics and hating to be in the sun. My biggest facial problems are large pores and a few spider veins on my cheeks. Would a Chemical Peel help? The only facial skin moisturizer I use is the Gold Bond Ultimate healing body lotion during the day and night I use the same lotion but use the new Gold Bond intense treatment on top. Works great and you can't beat the price. I just need a good exfoliator. Any suggestions? Some have just a simple washcloth.
Hello . I m nearly 45 with few fine winklers but got a T zone and my pores are getting larger as I m aging .. i would like to maybe do a retinol peel . My worry is that I get keloid scar easily ! Is chemical peel good for my type of skin ?
My main issue, and area my age shows is the smile lines and my thinning upper lip. I feel lucky at 49 1/2 my skin is relatively wrinkle free. My main issue, and area my age shows however is the smile lines & my thinning upper lip. I am a big fan of chemical peels. I know filler is best for smile lines but I heard, albeit rarely, you can go blind if injected wrong. I would prefer a peel or laser for my mouth area. Would it help? I think woman in 40s are at their most beautiful, so Im not looking for a drastic change, but want it to be worth the time and $.
Hi Im a 46 year old female and want advice on how to treat these horizontal lines that run below my eye/upper cheek area on both sides of my face. They are worse in certain lighting and shadows and in the morning after sleeping on my sides on the pillow. Would chemical peel or fillers work for these lines? Thanks
I am 53 and have age/sun/stress spots on my upper cheek that have begun to travel down my face. I also have keloid skin and Ive been considering getting a chemical peel or using some sort of cream. Im not sure if these spots are too deep for a chemical peel to make any difference. Im just not sure what the best option would be to have my skin tone become more even again. Thank you for the help!
I am 47 years old and under treatment for SLE since the last 5 years. My face has a lot of pigmentation and uneven skin color. My rheumatologist referred me to a dermatologist who advised that a medication I am taking for lupus- Planquinil could be causing that and advised me to go for a chemical peel. Will that help with my pigmentation and skin tone? And is it safe ?
I am 48, fair skin with moderate melsma. I also use a CPAP for severe obstructive sleep apnea, using a full face mask. (Simplus FFM if anyone wants to know). It has a T plastic piece on the forehead and straps on the cheeks. I could switch to the nasal mask for a few days (same idea but smaller), and I cannot tolerate the nasal cushions (I think those would be the best in this case). Could I slather aquaphor and use gauze under the straps to be able to do a chemical peel?
