Will a chemical peel be good for my type of skin? I get keloid scars easily

Hello . I m nearly 45 with few fine winklers but got a T zone and my pores are getting larger as I m aging .. i would like to maybe do a retinol peel . My worry is that I get keloid scar easily ! Is chemical peel good for my type of skin ?

Each chemical peel varies in the degree of wrinkle removal and tightening that is obtained. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon about your candidacy for the chemical peel and your aesthetic goals through facial plastic procedures.

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis.  We see atrophic and hypertrophic scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Hi!  Chemical peels, in my opinion, are one of the best kept 'secrets' for your cosmetic, anti-aging needs.  The cost is usually much more reasonable than lasers.  Keloids are not usually a problem with chemical peels.  You will need to be more careful with microneedling if you're someone who tends to form keloids.  There are many types of peels are there, so you will need to have a consult with someone who's well versed with peels to determine the right one for you.  I recommend a peel (the ones I offer) as a regular maintenance anti-aging procedure every 4-8 wks, and almost all age groups can benefit from it's amazing effects. Best,Dr. Huo
