I have had it about 5 years but it seems to be getting worse. On the right side it seems to be swollen or a not there but doesnt seem that bad on the left side. Any way to fix this without getting any injected? If not, what do I need done? I am very insecure and its very noticeable.
Underwent a brow lift due to having bells palsy many years ago. I'm a 58 year old male. since i have a reseeding hailing my surgeon made the incision over my brow in a fold. it's been two years since and I'm still swollen in one area. I have a consult scheduled later this month. Just looking for other opinions.
I am getting Brow lift, upper blepharoplasty, full face laser resurfacing and lipo of arms back and inner thighs. When I went to the pre-op the nurse said she was planning to prescribe Tylenol 3 with codine for the pain. Being as my head, eyes, arms, legs and back will all be cut, swollen and bruised I insisted on a stronger pain med and got it after she argued with me. Is this normal? Am I being a big baby?
A few months ago, I had a brow lift. Right after I got he bandage removed, I was beyond thrilled with the results. Just few weeks later, however, the results seem significantly diminished. The doctor removed 9 cm of skin, so I'd be surprised if the skin stretched that much. Could it be that the brow looked more full when it was swollen? If so, could that be fixed with filler? Alternatively, are my depressor muscles pulling it down now that they're regaining function? Could Botox correct this?
I had a endoscopic brow lift July 5th. I have lumps under Both my brows. What could this be. My corrugator muscles were cut out. Could this cause scar tissue formation or could I just still be swollen? The lumps are firm. Ive tried ice, heat, massages.
I had a bilateral upper blepharoplasty and brow lift (i think a browpexy from what I have read) about two months ago. When I woke up after surgery the only place that was hurting, and pretty bad was a lump on left lateral eyebrow. Throughout recovery only this brow hurt. Been to surgeon twice regarding the lump and he acts like ima nuisance. He says he put a stitch to hold things up, and give it time to heal. For the most part pain is gone, but it feels like a bad swollen bruise. Any suggestions? thx!
5 wks post brow lift. I initially had a swollen knot on forehead that has improved. Daily I have a constant tight feeling to right side of head with a throbbing sensation. Almost like feeling your heartbeat in the area. If I touch certain areas of forehead and/or incision I get a pins and needles feeling in that same area. I contacted my surgeon because the throbbing is very distracting. Not necessarily painful but....there. He told me to call my PCP and that it sounded like a headache???!!
I'm 21 and I had an endoscopic brow lift. This is day 4 of recovery and my forehead is completely numb (understandable) and extremely swollen like a balloon. This is no understatement. The forehead skin is pulling my eyelid skin ridiculously high upward and it really hurts. Is this normal? My forehead is literally swoollen like a balloon. How can I make the swelling go down fast??? Thanks in advance.
