Why still swollen from brow lift after 2 years? (photo)

Underwent a brow lift due to having bells palsy many years ago. I'm a 58 year old male. since i have a reseeding hailing my surgeon made the incision over my brow in a fold. it's been two years since and I'm still swollen in one area. I have a consult scheduled later this month. Just looking for other opinions.

When you excise an ellipse of skin then you can sometimes get some fullness at the ends called a "dog ear" in common parlance or standing cutaneous deformity in doctor-speak.  You should be able to have a small ellipse of additional skin removed in the office with resolution of the bump.

It's unlikely that after two years you still have swelling from your surgery. More likely what you have is some redundant skin/tissue at the end of where the incision was made, scar tissue, or some other process.  It's hard to make recommendations as to what would be best but certainly starting with an in person consultation is a must. If it is scar tissue or a nodule of some kind sometimes steroid or other medicines can be injected into the area. If it is redundant tissue or some other contour issue you might need a revision surgery.
