Due to my asymmetry, I got liposuction in the larger breast and 310cc was removed. I then got a 295cc implant in the larger breast, a 375cc implant in the smaller, and a crescent lift to raise the nipple on my larger. The crescent lift has only stretched my areola making it noticeably larger and adding to my insecurities. My doctor says there is nothing else to do and that he will not do a full lift due to my age. Is he correct that nothing else can be done and is it unreasonable to expect more?
I had a breast reduction, which led to a BMX with expanders which I had a terrible reaction to. PS drained off 300ml of fluid in the exchange. But it created pockets that were way too big for the 270cc implants. Four months on, they are sliding down my ribcage and into my armpits. PS refuses to reduce the size of the pocket in repair. He says just internal stitches will suffice but with this much implant mobility I am highly skeptical. Is there any reason why I can't do a GAP flap now?
I had double mastectomy 5 months ago with tissue expanders placed in. I noticed then that the left breast was not as close as the right breast to the midline. 2 weeks ago I had the silicone implants placed in (250 cc). When I lay down the left implant rolls to the side revealing a cavity near my midline. Not only the implants are small and seem even smaller, but the cavity exposed when I lay down is very appalling. Can this be corrected in cases of reconstructed breasts?
I have 280 cc's in the expanders at the time of this picture. I am a 46 yrs old 5'10 and i am currently 205lbs (trying to loose about 35z40 more pounds was a 40d before the surgery.
I had bilateral prophylactic mastectomy and immediate tissue expanders placed 6/29/15. The surgeon only places 250 cc expanders and he has already filled them 150cc. I am 5'5 and 120 lbs. I was a small B before surgery and wanted to be a small C or full B. Will we be able to achieve this with 250 expanders? I am very healthy and active person and only spent one night at the hospital.
Original implant after tissue expander 340cc style 40, exchanged for 240cc style 10, exchanged for 260cc style 20, exchanged for 270cc style 10 with z-plasty to improve the scar. The scars are the predominate feature of this reconstruction and have begun to adhere to the muscle. I wonder if removing the implant and starting over somehow is an option.
