I wanted to know whether it is normal to have itching sensation around the nipple area after a breast lift? My surgery was on the 3rd of nov, also when can i remove the waterproof plaster as it is really bloody and i am worried it can get infected due to that. I know you are supposed to keep the butterfly plasters on for a while, but have asked for the surgeon to confirm. Please advice whether the itching is normal and if there is anything that can help with the itching.
I had a anchor breast lift April 22nd 2014 little shy of a months. Is it normal for them to itch everywhere. I called my doctors office and they told me to try Neosporin. Someone helped but not completely. I think they are healing ok but not so sure. Also had my side flanks done and it is lumpy and hard in a few areas is this normal. I've also gained five pounds. I keep telling myself give it time but how much time.
I had a breast lift revision 10/18/18, I have been very itchy from the first week of surgery, nurses have removed spitting stitches since second week after surgery , I havent seen my doctor bc hes always out of town or in surgery when Im there , could you all look at these pictures and tell me what you think? Ive been told to put Aquaphor on the open areas and keep covered by the nurses, Ive taken 2 rounds of keflex and now on cipro , but they say it doesnt look infected?
I am 13 day post op of a anchor style breast lift w/implants. At 10 days post op I developed this inflamed itchy, rash along the incision line mostly under my breast and around the nipple area. I took Benadryl for the itching and that helped. I am cleaning my incisions with wound cleaner, then applying triple antibiotic ointment and sterile gauze. I was told my stitches would dissolve and that I did not need to come in to have them removed.
My breasts are heavy and I wear tight bra straps 24/7 for support or else I have shooting pain down down the outer side of each breast. I have shooting pain/painful itching sensation toward the outer part of my shoulder and up the right side of my neck.Initially, I used slip on strap pads, then was given a Rx strength hydocortisone cream Nexttreated for shingles. The pain has not responded to anything. The Dr. suspects pinched nerve on my right shoulder. Will insurance cover Breast lift to provide some relief in the right shoulder area where I have to wear the strap so tightly?
I had a breast lift/reduction done almost 2 years ago. The scar on one side is still painful, itchy and it has been two years since the surgery. I was told it was not keloid, as it is almost flat, but it is still very pink. What can be done and will this painful sensation disappear even though it is still present after almost two years?
