I recently had my old saline implants exchanged for high profile, gummy bear implants along with the capsulectomy in my right breast. I immediately bottomed out. Im wondering what the best option would be for me. I have three different consultations with three different options. 1. Full anchor lift with galaflex 2. Lift at bottom of breast with Strattice 3. Capsulorrhaphy I did not need a lift when I had my implants exchanged but now I have extra skin from bottoming out.
I had my breast augmentation done July/2020 and I have felt like I bottomed out within a year.. I previously worked at that clinic (where I got it done) and felt like I was brushed off. I do want to redo them.. however, I am not too sure if I should wait until I have kids to do capsulorrhaphy, with remove and replace. Please let me know if you think I have bottomed out.
I had a revision capsulorrhaphy done in April after exchanging old implants 2 years ago. I made it known I had issues the first time around with not much tissue to my surgeon. He seemed to overlook that and I am still unhappy with my current look. My implants feel super bottom heavy and uncomfortable. I inquired about mesh and he disregarded it saying he did it with sutures? would mesh material have helped to achieve more fullness & less discomfort? implants are 495cc HP. thank you!!!
Had a re-Aug completed after 12 years of my original implants. Went with Sentra gel 400 cc, same size as the original. Dr. Did a crescent lift on one side and a capsulorrhaphy on the other. The one with the capsullorrhaphy is lower than the other, and incision scar has moved about 1/4 inch onto the breast while the other is still at the fold. Worried that I may have a capsulor contracture on the left and bottoming out on the other.
Is it better to go through areola or ideal fold when one breast bottoms out and you need a capsuloraphy w mesh internal bra? My previous incisions were areola and o love it because of no scar but Ive been told its safer to do infram fold and ultimately want to do whats best for my body. ( just really hate the thought of that scar ) thank you
After my breast augmentation in March of 2023, my doctor confirmed that he had over dissected My right breast implant pocket medially and even though I do not have symastia, the breasts are touching. Over a year later, I have developed mild capsular contracture on the right breast. Now I need a revision to correct two things 1) close the pocket medially 2) capsulectomy to remove scar tissue. I want to know if these two procedures can be done at the same time on my R breast and if its safe?
I had my first breast augmentation in October 2021. I only had 290CC under muscle. I am very small build and lean. Right after surgery I was unhappy with how far apart my implants were, I hardly wore a bra after the 6 week healing period and after a few months my implants were severely Bottomed out. I went for a revision 6 months ago with the same implants placed under muscle again with Capsulorraphy and Durasorb mesh and wearing supportive bra everyday . They are bottoming out again. What do I do?
12 months ago I had an implant revision with mastopexy. The results are awful and continue to get worse. The implants float around my chest and slide under my arms. They are low and my sternum is obvious and the chest above the implants is flat and boney. Another doctor said a revision would cost $26000! I am in deep depression and do not know what to do. I feel violated and I can not afford $26,000. I do not want my first doctor to try to 'fix' it. What should I do?
My breasts are sagging following a revision surgery, which was a total capsulectomy to undo capsular contracture with the addition of Strattice. Is a simple capsulorrhaphy a reasonable solution to my current ptosis/bottoming out, or do I need some sort of internal bra either using Strattice of Galaflex in order to support the weak breast tissue? Would Galaflex increase my chances of the capsular contracture returning? I am also considering explant surgery though I have little natural tissue.
Updated: I had a breast augmentation revision last year after My right implant ruptured. The surgeon over dissected the pocket towards the midline / cleavage area and towards the armpit. Now I can see that one breast is clearly wider than the other and crosses the midline, so to take up more of the cleavage area. It just does not look symmetrical in shape. Whats the recommended technique to make the pocket smaller so that my breast is not crossing the midline? I dont want smaller implants, just symmetry,
