As I noticed a large lump under arm and had terrible pain and burning in my breast, implants were removed they said the lump would go away after surgery as the silicone was very close to my lungs and they couldn't remove everything.the lump under my arm is still there, should I be concerned.
I had my total capsulectomy breast Explant surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago and I thought I would be back to work and feeling better by now but I have burning, stabbing and a pins and needles sensation with every step or bounce in the car and when Im not wearing a bra even when my shirt swipes agains my skin it hurts. If I dont do anything all day it doesnt quite hurt as much. Is there anyway to help heal this nerve pain faster?
Hi ladies has anyone had an off and on burning sensation after explant? I'm about 7 weeks post op. Last week no pain, then woke up in the middle night and lifted my son (30 pounds) into my bed and felt a burning in both breast today it's been the same all day. Totally off and on. More when I press on the breast or nipple. Going to call my surgeon Monday if it doesn't pass. My regular doc said maybe it's nerves.. Weird
I had my breast implants removed 3 weeks ago. They were saline over the muscle. About a week ago, I started to feel a burning or stinging in the bottom 1/2 of my left breast. It is not hot or discolored. Just the constant pain for the last week. It is very sensitive to touch as well. The right breast has no pain at all.
I had breast implant removal and lift two weeks ago. On my right side I believe I have nerve damage. I have severe burning, pain and sensitivity in my right armpit and down the back of my right arm all the way to the elbow. My range of motion on that side is also not great. Left side feels perfectly normal. Is this likely to go away?
I had an explant with total capsulectomy. How long do these burning sensations last? I am on day 6, post explant. Seems like mostly when I bend over if they're not well supported, like in the shower when I bent over to turn the water off and I got a firey surge in my left breast. Why does this happen and how long will it last? Do you know of any other explant patients who have this?
I explanted my Mem double lumen ( full capsulotomy) and still have burning sensation & I get electrical shock pains down into my toe and often in my breast and especially behind my knee. The burning sensation has decreased about 80 percent since the rupture, I m still having issues on the whole right side. When I saw my P.S for my 4 month checkup he said he didn't know why I would have any burning at all... with no answers. Anyone have any answers to why I would still have these symptoms? Thanks
I was put under anesthesia and the very same day my inner eye started burning and hurting. The area seems to be a normal color of pale pink, sometimes red. This sensation occurs about 7/8 times a day and only subsides when I place a cold towel over that area for a few minutes. This has been going on for 16 days. Is this a normal side effect of anesthesia or should I go see an optometrist/opthemologist? By the way I did not experience this with my breast augmentation at all.
I got implants in 83, for several months I have been having a burning pain in my breast, the shape has not changed at all. For years I have always had a very high white cell count and they have said I have everything from Fibromyalgia to Loin Pain hematuria syndrome but could never pin point any infection, or any other reason for my white cell count to be high for so long. I have a mamogram scheduled next week to see if there is a rupture. could this cause the high white cell count?
I had my implants with a breast lift done about 5 years ago. For the past year i have been wanting them removed because they are way to large for my body. 36F probably even and i weigh 150 im 5'4. They did a lift but i don't think it was done right becuase my breast were very saggy from the beginning and one of the implants didnt even drop so its still real high under the muscle. The doctor wouldnt correct it so i left it like that. Everyday they hurt alot with a burning sensation.
