Why 6 months after implant removal do I still have burning sensations and pains on the side that was ruptured?

Local burning pain before or after explantation with rupture can be due to cytokines and or chemical neurotoxins in the gel and is usually treated with additional surgery later to remove the rest of the silicone as well as detoxification of the chemicals.  More distant burning pain is usually due to biotoxins from mold and needs to be treated with antifungals and biotoxin detox.  We have an extensive experience with this (take a look at the material on line) that other plastic surgeons are not familiar with these problems.  I was recently on The Doctors discussing this problem with mold symptoms.
