I had implant removal 6 months ago and one of my breast doesnt look like it has settled down like the other side has. I was very flat to begin with and removed 550 cc implants that were in 20 years so my skin is loose and that I understand but I dont know why the one breast underneath seems to be stuck. Not sure if this is called adhesion and if it will still settle over the year.
Hello all, I've recently encountered issues following an explant surgery, which seems to relate to improper pectoral muscle reattachment. Surgeon told me it was adhesions but three other manual therapists found none. Instead noted its likely an issue with negligence during surgery. Seeking treatment suggestions and advice. Attached are photos for referenceVery disappointed in the outcome and seeking some peace of mind!Thank You
Explanted my 13 year old implants with capsule 7 months ago. Breast are different size and have adhesion on the left smaller breast. My scares sit under my bra or bikini and I feel like a frankinstian. Don't really want to put any more breast implants in.
My explant was performed almost five years and I have had these folds or dents since the surgery. Fat transfer and placing a new implant are NOT options for me. One surgeon said it is a straight forward procedure to release the tissue and/or excise any adhesions to improve the appearance of my breasts. I did not have any double bubble issues with my 220 ml implants. Thank you!
I would like to tell me if something in these photos ,especially animation deformity, is a sign of possible puckering or adhession after removal of my 6yrs old cohesive mentor silicone moderate plus profile 300cc implants. Also, how do you prevent this from happening if Thank you.
I can live with the right Breast but not 1. Can muscle repair still be done even after explant? 2. Significant adhesion on the left breast would benefit from scar tissue release and pocket/crease revision. 3. Although not as noticable when I flex my right breast it also creases. What procedures can be done to rectify crease/dents that DO NOT Require lift and or re-implant? I am 48 and just want my left to more closely match the right breast.
I am 8 weeks post op after an explant and am not happy at all with my results. The doctor I used is a highly respected plastic surgeon. He uses a procedure where he adds tissue to the bottom of the breast with a lift to give it volume. The tissue in those areas is very hard (like a rock) from scarring and has adhesions. I massage and massage. I need the adhesions to break away but, at the same time, don't want my skin to sag. I would appreciate feedback and suggestions on what can help.
Breast explant and capsulectomy 5 months post. I'm happy with the outcome of my left breast but the right one is folded over by what seems like an adhesion just under areola. I know that I don't want to stay this way and also don't want replacement implants. What are my options for fixing this issue without implants?
BA done in 1997, saline, under the muscles, went from 36B to 36C. Explant Sept 2015. Deformity when flexing occurred since day one. In Feb 2016 100ccs fat transfer to breasts to help with scar adhesions. Unsuccessful. The capsules were left in after explant. I understood from my pre-op that the incision would be made under the breast fold but on the day of surgery the doctor changed her mind and went through my areola again. Should I have a scar revision on the areola?
