I had my breast implants removed four months ago. There have been improvements in the skin tone. How long until I see my final results in regard to the skin retracting. Am I likely to see any more improvement? I read on weight loss forums that people see improvements for up to two years after weight loss. Is this true? My implants were in for 16 years. 400cc. I'm 36 years old. Slim build. Possibly a small b cup now. Size 6 frame.
I am 35 yrs old, 3 kids. I had a capsulectomy and breast implant removal 4 months ago. I had the implants for 4 years . I removed them because they were too big and a mild capsular contracture. Now I am considering getting a smaller pair of new implants. I am 51 and 118lbs. I had 375cc and they were just too big for my frame. How long should I wait since my explant until I can get new implants and is it safe? Can I still have desirable results after the capsulectomy I had?
4 months post op. I'm wondering if my implants are supposed to sit like this? I know to expect some asymmetry. But this much? The one that is lower almost feels saggy and the lower pole isn't rounded like the higher one is. I'm in need of your opinion on this one. I had nipple asymmetry to begin with and thats why my surgeon said he placed one implant lower. Do you think my results are acceptable? I'm considering removing them as it's bothering me..
I still have bruise-like pain, heaviness and itchiness in my left breast after explant over 4.5 months ago. There is no seroma, hematoma or fluid anymore, the other breast is completely healed and smaller. The lightning-like, shooting, stinging pains never went away, they seem to be getting worse. Also, that nipple does not contract like it used to. It is almost always flat and unresponsive to cold and touch. It is hypersensitive and hurts to touch or press. Anyone know why this is not healing?
The surgeon took out the right implant, washed it and re-inserted it to try and save it even though I had an infection so my right breast had 3 x surgeries inc the mastectomy and explant. The right breast is still painful 4 months on, but I dont know if thats because an infection is still there. Ive had two courses of antibiotics, plus, Ive switched surgeons for another reconstruction later this year which will be around 11-12 months post explant.
The implants caused me hard psychological discomfort, and I just want to remove them ASAP in order to preserve at least the skin tone, but my surgeon told me that its not possible to do that during the first year post op because it may cause tissue inflammation, and that the mammary gland has not resumed its normal cycle of operation yet, and that if it was interrupted again this could cause other complications. This news has made me even more upset. Whats your opinion about that? Thank you..
They were 350/400 mentor unders. I only had the implants in for 7 months . I still have soreness especially where the incisions and the underwire bra meet. I also have pain when I press on my breast. Is my body still healing?
I had my breast augmentation 4 months ago, however I dislike the result. They are bigger than I wanted. I want to remove them. However maybe later I would want to replace them for smaller implants. How long is safe to wait for replacement after removal of previous implants?
