Over 3 months ago i had my small over the muscle silicone implants removed.. was fine a couple weeks then they blew up larger than when i had implants and were hard and painful.. i now have to go every week or 2 and get drained. I wear a tight compression bra or bandage almost constantly to keep it from re-swelling.. my dr has never dealt with this and i don't want to be damaging anything if this is something i will need surgery again for.. help!? Any advice or just more time and detoxing?! Thanks

12 weeks PO from under muscle implant removal, still experiencing pain and tightness. Still have my capsules, as PS has disagreed about capsule removal from the beginning. (I feel his opinion on my pain is biased because he does not believe in removing capsules.) I have had EMG and NCV testing at the Neurologist (upon PS request) that confirmed that there is no nerve damage or nerve involvement. Should I have a capsulectomy? If I were your patient what would the next steps be?
Hello. I had a breast lift with explant of 21 years old silicone implants last August and I am delighted with the results. I just found out that I am pregnant, quite unexpectedly. What are the risks in terms of changes to my new breasts, still in the phase of recovery, especially the scars? Will I need a new lift in one year? Will they completely deflate? Last but most important: will surgery be able to fix whatever happens? I am terrified.
Had over the muscle silicone breast implants removed 9 weeks ago with minimal capsule removal as i have little breast tissue.. fluid build-up was suspected early on but surgeon suggested leaving it to go away on its own. About 5 weeks post, my right breast started to get hard and firm towards the back of the breast. MRI scan identified fluid build-up overlying the pectoralis muscle and seroma within the implant cavity.. what should be my next step? or will my get breast go soft again on its own?
I had breast implant removal and a breast lift using the inverted-T technique. I smoked 2 mini cigars last week on vacation. And one this week. This past weekend I noticed a hardening at the top of my right breast. Feels like a thick muscle. Then, I smoked a half of a mini cigar last night and this morning I noticed more hardening in the actual breast. I just remembered that smoking is not good for wound healing prior to surgery and after. I am 3 months out. I am not a regular smoker.
Implant removal 1yr and 3mos ago; capsule left in, scored repeatedly. Right side did not appear to adhere to the chest wall, revision 3mos ago where breast tissue was cut away and re-adhered to the areolar tissue, I still have some puckering around the areolar incision site. Will tissue ever adhere?
