I'm eight weeks postop and I am not happy with the size and would like my breast implants removed. After research of implant removal I noticed so many women having the same illnesses from implants. Is this true?! how can I ignore so many women with the same problems?
I think I may have a small amount of fluid in my left breast 8 weeks post breast implant explantation. I have seen my surgeon several times and he never expressed any concern and there is no pain or discomfort at all. I only noticed my left breast feels a bit watery and if I hold it in just a certain way, I can get a little wave in my skin by poking it. What will happen if I just leave it alone, continue with my massage and red light therapy and nothing else? Thank you
My saline implants are removed 8 weeks ago without capsulectomy and drainage. The fluid keeps coming back on my right breast. The doctor aspirated the fluid 3 times already since surgery but I still feel the right side breast has some soreness/mild pain when touch. Will the fluid do any harm to my breast if I leave it there? Will there be a complication? What can I do about it? Thank you for your advise.
It's been 10 weeks since I had my implants removed with a breast lift. My nipples are pointing downwards and look like snouts. The left breast has an extra crease that is pronounced if I lift my arms. And the tissue hasn't dropped on my right breast.
It has been 10 weeks since removal of under muscle silicone implants with partial capsule removal. My right breast is larger and tender. I thought seroma but not sure after ultrasound. There is fluiid in the entire breast cavity. I am having aspiration next week. They estimated 92 ml of fluid. How can I prevent this from occurring again? I have worn compression since surgery.
I had my implants (375cc high profile) removed on 27th August this year (7 weeks ago). I only had them in for 3 months and had no problems at all with the implants; I just hated the size and appearance of them. My plastic surgeon lowered my crease for the original surgery and the skin has not retracted so its created a double bubble effect. He says he can correct this with more surgery if it doesnt resolve itself by 3 months. Is this common? And, does it normally resolve itself by 3 months? Thank you!
Please help- I'm currently 8 wks post op from breast implant removal surgery w/out replacement. I had 286cc silicone sub pectoral implants removed; capsules were thin and left intact. At 6 weeks post op, I noticed a bump on my left breast. PS confirmed that it's fluid build up. He aspirated the fluid (about 75 cc) and found that it contained blood. I had another round of aspiration yesterday and it was excruciating. PS wants to reoperate, remove capsule, and place drain in right breast. Agree?
I got my submuscular implants (250 cc) removed 2 months ago. I do suffer from flex deformity. The muscle was released at the inferior-medial border. I got them removed in local - capsules left in. My surgeon says that it can not be fixed, because he don't know what he should sew the pectoralis muscle back to. I understand the problem. Can you actually fix the pectoralis? Some doctors say yes, others no. And I have heard of girls who tried a repair, and it did not succeed.
I am 8 weeks post op after an explant and am not happy at all with my results. The doctor I used is a highly respected plastic surgeon. He uses a procedure where he adds tissue to the bottom of the breast with a lift to give it volume. The tissue in those areas is very hard (like a rock) from scarring and has adhesions. I massage and massage. I need the adhesions to break away but, at the same time, don't want my skin to sag. I would appreciate feedback and suggestions on what can help.
