It's been 10 weeks since I had my implants removed with a breast lift. My nipples are pointing downwards and look like snouts. The left breast has an extra crease that is pronounced if I lift my arms. And the tissue hasn't dropped on my right breast.
Answer: Implant Removal and Width The majority of the skin changes will have resolved or settled after 3 months fellowing your procedure. However, smaller changes will continue to occur for another 3 months following that. Before evaluating your results and/or making a decision for revision I would wait at least 6 months from your procedure. Be sure to check in regularly with your PS so they can be familiar with the rate of change occurring. Best of luck!

Answer: Settling of the breasts may not be complete at only 2 months post-op following breast lift While it certainly seems like a long time, actually 10 weeks post-op is relatively recent when it comes to breast tissue settling after a procedure like yours. Sometimes it will take 4 to 6 months or longer for the tissues to stabilize and final results to become apparent. It may actually take longer for repeat procedures to heal than for a primary procedure because already existing scar tissue and fibrosis in the tissues may take longer to relax and soften. While nobody can be sure right now that your breasts will improve or if so by how much, I would say that there is a strong likelihood that they will soften more and change as time goes on. Follow the advice of your surgeon closely and stay in close contact with him or her regarding your concerns. Good luck.
