I am 4 years post op, with Polytech Round 545CC implants, over the muscle. I have recently been trying to lose weight and lost around 5Kg, not enough to cause a major change in my implants I would think. Over the last 5 days, I have noticed a funny feeling in my left breast. It is not painful or hard (when resting or doing exercises) but I feel like the skin by the left side of my nipple is pulling. 5 It is closer to a numbing feeling that is just always present. No change to shape either.
Nearly 6 months ago I had a breast augmentation from an A to C. It was over the muscle and the insicion is on the fold under the breast. I still have a strange numbness around and under my nipples. I also get shooting pains. Is this normal after such a long period of time? Even though I'm saying it's a numbness, it's a weird feeling -- its like when you've been to the dentist and had your mouth frozen and the feeling is starting to come back. The shooting pains don't last long, but they're quite sore.
I am currently 1 week post opp, after differential under the muscle breast implants. My nipples used to be really small however since my opperation they are completely numb, very large, swollen and puffy.. Will these go back to normal in time?
I received a breast augmentation about 8 months ago and did have a complication. I developed a hematoma in my right breast a couple days after surgery and the implantwas immediately replaced. My healing has been pretty normal ever since with the expected soreness, but also a little more tingling and numbness around the nipple. That seemed to fade away, but now I will suddenly get bursts of shooting, sharp pain in both nipples. Is that normal? What could that be?
Hi doctors! I am 33 years old, I got a breast augmentation in February, 300ccs in both my boobs. I havent regained feeling in my right boob, its not just the nipple its the entire thing. Is that normal or is something wrong?
I am seven days post breast augmentation. Silicone implants under the muscle. My left arm is having tingling/ numbing sensations. Sometimes I feel it in my right arm too but more severe in my left. I am worrried and it's a holiday weekend so I won't be able to reach anyone for 4 days. I don't have any bruising or redness. TIA
I got a breast augmentation done last year (it's been 1 year and 4 months), going from totally flat to 295ccs. I am 5'4 and 120 pounds, so I'd say I went up approximately 2 cup sizes. I've regained feeling in my right nipple, but my left nipple is still numb and painful to touch. If I press just below the left implant I can feel nipple sensation, but if I pinch my nipple it just hurts. Does this mean I'll regain feeling? Or am I stuck with a numb and painful nipple?
I have 415 round silicone on both sides under the muscle. I engaged in an activity with repetitive motion that may have caused stress to or around the implant. Felt irritation immediately afterwards, but no pain or swelling. Week and a half later and I still feel numbness, mild tingling, and mild tightening. I have informed my surgeon and am looking for more information. Nerve pain? Early leak symptoms? Or early capsular contracture?
I had my augmentation 4 days ago. Under muscle through the crease. My right side is ok but my Left is much more painful. My left had a drain the right did not. During the day it's not as bad but my left arm feels tingly and numb. However at night I wake up screaming. My arm feels almost separate to my body and I have to vigorously rub my veins and get my boyfriend to lay on it to stop it hurting. It's also while sleeping that my left breast hurts my chest. I'm worried about nerve damage
