Im now just over a year post op and experiencing this tried to run today and my butt feels sore when running. It's like the fat is not attached to the body and feels like a foreign material jumping up and down every step i take and its extra sore when i run fast. I didn't workout afterwards until now and it was so weird and uncomfortable, like the fat wasn't attached to muscle. Why is this happening and how do i stop it?
24 y/o athletic build, 161lbs 5'7 pre op now 148lbs. I had BBL sept 2015. Im very sporty and i lift heavy weights with no problem but tried to run today and my butt feels sore when running. It's like the fat is not attached to the body and feels like a foreign material jumping up and down every step i take and its extra sore when i run fast. Fast walking, row machine etc. - no problem. Is this normal? No other problems and its only sore when i run
I received BBL on 5/29/15, i will be 6wks postop this 7/10. My dr told me start working out 2 weeks postop, which i did. I didn't do any cardio until 7/6, I ran for 20 min and this may sound crazy after i went running I swear my butt has lost a lot of volume. I read mixed reviews about exercise after BBL, when to start, how much to do. I'm wondering how long does it take for the fat to settle and would minimal cardio (ie running) 5 weeks post-op decrease volume?
Im a long distance runner and won't start again until im at least 6mos PO. With the amount of running id be doing, once my fat has fully vascularized and taken to my body will the fat on my hips go away? I know the new cells will shrink and grow as i do, but is there a point where new hip fat will disappear and not increase in size if i regain weight? Should I give up running all together? Is there a specific amount i should run? Should i eat in excess to compensate for the calories lost during a run? Is weight training an option?
I'm 15 years old but will be turning 16 soon. I've had a problem With my body & weight since I was younger and yes I'm still young, but I have tried everything and as if now I have giving up I want a BBL ASAP because it seems like nothing can ever work. I've tried constantly playing sports running and I am now at a weight of 200 something. It's unfair. I wanna feel beautiful. I feel as if I am mature and ready for this tense type of surgery. ive come to a talk with my mother and she is all yes.
When can I start running again? Dr. Andrew Jimerson mentioned in a video that if you run alot, you may not get a big butt or you might not keep the size that you want. Can someone explain a little more in depth? I run about 4 days a week 2 to 3 miles. Also, how will the elliptical effect results?
