I had 36 units in between the brows and in the forehead and it has been 4 months. I like the look of it right now. If I go in for a touch up, how many units am I looking at getting? The same as last time? 36? Or less since all of my movement has not returned?
I just got 20 units Botox for the 11 area yesterday, my first time ever. The doctor said I needed an appointment for 2 weeks later to retouch the area. I'm not finding this practice being mentioned anywhere else. Is this a common to have to pay for a retouch so soon?
Im a regular user of Botox and just saw a new provider/new office. During the consult I told her Ive always had 28-30 units for the glabella/forehead lines. She insisted on doing only 14 even though Id always been very happy with my usual. I listened to the provider and got what she said. Upon thinking about it, I didnt get what I asked for, I asked to come back the next day to get the additional 16u. Theyre fighting me on this? Would it be ok cosmetically to retouch after one week?
I know Botox takes 7 days to kick in and then its in full effect. Hoping my touch up that I got the other day will loosen a bit as my other side did. I often here that Botox needs to fully set and gets more flexible after the 2 week mark in its finished result.
My botox (forehead, 11's, crows feet) wears off on the crows feet usually around 2 months. Is it alright to have botox injected again, just as a touch up for the crow's feet after only 2 months? Also, once, all areas only lasted 2 months when it usually lasts around 3-4. (I moved to a developing country and went to a recommended board certified doctor, but I think it was diluted). So, I wanted the botox sooner after 2 months, but she made we wait until 3 months from her original injection.
Just over 2 weeks ago I received Botox in my forehead. After 2 weeks my forehead muscles have weakened, however, I still have full movement between my brows. My physician said that I may need another 5 units as a touch up (I originally had 25 units). I am unable to get an appointment for another 3 weeks, so the touch up would be 5 weeks after the initial injection. Will results look uneven as the Botox wears off due to the gap between initial injection and touch up? Thank you!
