I just got 20 units Botox for the "11" area yesterday, my first time ever. The doctor said I needed an appointment for 2 weeks later to "retouch" the area. I'm not finding this practice being mentioned anywhere else. Is this a common to have to pay for a retouch so soon?

Answer: Two-week follow up after Botox injections is common
Botox comes in a form that has to be reconstituted in the office. Different injectors will use different amounts of saline to mix the product. It may be that your new injector uses more saline than your previous one. The bumps should go away within 30 minutes of injection.
I'm sorry to hear of the issues that you are experiencing. It's difficult to say if/how Botox is involved without an evaluation. I encourage you to return to your injector to discuss your concerns. I would discontinue any other treatments until that time as it seems to make matters worse.
Thank you for your question, I would not recommend Botox as the go to treatment for your concern. This would require a very high amount of units and it would only last about 3-4 months. I recommend seeing your primary care physician to see what would be the best route for you to take, in regards...
