I have large shoulders, biceps, and calves. I read that Botox can be a good means to reduce their size, but I am struggling to find a trustworthy doctor to go to. Any recommendations ? Also, is there any risk to injecting botox in those areas, more specifically, permanent paralysis, loss of function, hitting a major vein/artery like carotid artery? I want slimmer neck/shoulders, arms, and calves, but don't want permanent damage. Other than Botox, are there other alternatives?
I am MTF trans and also played sports in college so my shoulder width is my biggest problem area. Other than Botox, is there a surgery or intervention I can do to effectively reduce the width of my shoulders/shoulder blades? Thanks
I had a consultation for Botox and was told I would need 200 total units of Botox for every area on my face and the bands on my neck and an additional 100 units for underarm sweating (50 units on each underarm) and 100 units for shoulder slimming. Is it safe to get this much Botox done at once?
Hello, I was pole dancing for more than 5 years. My arm /shoulders became overgrown. rounded man shape, although I stopped all exercises for upper part the shoulders are still rounded . I do not feel good with this shape. I am slim and I do not want to gain fat only to hide that. Is that possible that botox can reduce those muscles? Thank you in advance
I have very overdeveloped traps and a tight chest. The result is that my shoulder really project out from my back and I always look sort of hunched over and like I have a short neck. I'm a 5' ft. tall woman, so even a little improvement would be noticeable. Is botox an option for those areas? If so, how many units would it take? Thank you!
I have a base shaped face which seems to be getting worse, so I'm contemplating jaw reduction. How much Botox will I need to get subtle but sufficient result? Any chances it would give me a sunken in look, which I'm afraid of happening? Also, I have severe tension in jaw-neck-shoulder area that I am constantly aware of, and it debilitates me from concentrating. Can Botox be used to treat such a condition? Is jawline reduction effective in relieving some of the tension?
The muscles circled in red indicate problem muscles. They have always been very tight, caused pain, and always feel as hard as boulders. I cant actually relax them enough to bring them down. Is it possible to inject Botox in or around these muscles to relax them? How much would it cost? And can anyone recommend themselves or someone they know who can help? I live in Atlanta but can take recommendations anywhere around East coast
