I'm having a delayed reaction of non-painful nodules, redness & bumps @ injection sites, & swelling in all places I had HA fillers (Vo) injected and some places I had Botox injected. Vollure and Botox: 6/29/18 (but had prev injections back to 7/2017) 1st nodule: 9/10/18 but escalated fast to nodules all over my face. 2 rounds of Pred. 100mg Minocycline injection of Hylenex Is there anyone in the NYC area that is experienced/has treated this type of delayed reaction with success? Thank you!
I have had injected botox and fillers on my face and I would like to have KTP laser treatment on my facial redness but im unsure how long should I wait after injecting fillers and botox before I can have KTP.
I had a jaw muscle reduction botox yesterday at around 11:00am and 2 hours later I ate a bowl of very spice noodle, which resulted in heavy sweating and face flush. I was wondering if my face flush and heavy sweating could have spread the botox to unwanted place in my face and furthermore other part of my important muscle groups such as breathing or swallowing? Thank you so much for any input!
I had botox almost three weeks ago for the first time. First I had redness under my right eye and dry skin, it also started to swell. Now both my left and right eye are swollen (the eyelids) and I still have redness patch under my right eye. My doctor who I went to for the injections said it was definitely not a reaction to the botox and is just allergies. I do have allergies this time of year, but I am so petrified because I have read a lot online about droopy eyelids after botox. PLEASE HELP
I hate to put it like this but as if someone gave you a punch in the face but only in a small area above your eyebrows! It doesn't protrude in a massive way but there is a area above each brow protruding. And there is noticeable redness as if 'something happened. Looking at my profile, it looks like I have a strong brow. I did not have any of this beforehand. How can this be reasonably explained? Is this rare and it is a permanent disfigurement?
My last fraxel restore is coming soon. How long should I wait after the procedure before I go for filler and botox? I just want to make sure I pass the post-tightness phase so that the PS will have the best view where to put filler and how much filler I need. I use different PS for laser and fillers. Redness usually goes away within a week.
I had botox injections four days ago and still have a knot & redness at one of the injection sites. After researching the web, it is obvious the nurse hit the periosteum as I heard a crunching sound when she did it. The assistant told me to massage it, but now there appears to be an indetation to the side of the lump. What should I do? Is this permanent?
I have had Botox before and never had a bruise until now. One time my forehead felt numb, but that went away after a week or two. I do seem to bruise easily, but this bruise scares me. I iced it for the first night like they told me to do. I have been using Arnica (topical) twice a day. I am using a lot of make-up to cover it up, but it doesn't seem like this bruise is going away any time soon. Is this normal? The lady was a retired nurse and said she has been doing injections since last summer.
