My last fraxel restore is coming soon. How long should I wait after the procedure before I go for filler and botox? I just want to make sure I pass the post-tightness phase so that the PS will have the best view where to put filler and how much filler I need. I use different PS for laser and fillers. Redness usually goes away within a week.

Answer: Botox & Fillers after Fraxel Restore If you are looking to minimize the amount of filler or Botox you need (due to tightening effects of the Fraxel Restore), I recommend waiting three to six months to obtain the maximum results from the laser treatment. If your goal is to minimize side effects, you can inject Botox and / or filler as early as three days after the procedure (when most of the edema has decreased). Since some patients stay swollen as long as 7 to 10 days, I typically schedule the neuromodulator (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) and filler treatment one to two weeks after the Fraxel.
