4 weeks ago I (f, 34) noticed a kind of bump above one eyebrow. It looks worse when I move my eyebrow + the eyebrow on that side is moving a lot more than the other. It looks like I'm permanently angry on that side, the skin looks like it's pulled together. Taping makes it look better, but its not going away. Could this be due to too much muscle activity? I have no forehead lines and no lines between my eyebrows. Which muscle could this be and will Botox smooth out that area?
I would like to know if Botox would help with my condition. This is my forehead in a relaxed position,it looks red as I had just finished massaging the area. On the left side there is a bump above my forehead, could that be an osteoma? It feels hard when I touch it but when I massage I'm able to press it down. Could it be a muscle knot or fatty tissue? Would daily massages help relax my forehead muscles? Should I go with Botox / surgery? I frown when I sleep so I have started using frownies
Good day, I had a botox treatment for forehead lines in November. A few days I noticed a bump on my forehead. I then had a follow-up appointment 2 weeks after the initial botox treatment. The Dr. could not advise what caused the bump and administered another unit of botox in an attempt to reduce the bump. Now, 3 months after the treatment the bump remains (see photo). Please advise on what this could be. I am also going to seek help from a dermatologist. Thanks
I am 27 years old. This bump started occurring about a year ago. It happens under one eye only. I am not sure if it is a muscle or a nerve. Sometimes it is less noticeable than other times, but most of the time, it is like in the photo. I appreciate your time. Thank you.
I have been going to a board Certified good doctor for many years for Botox at the 11 lines on forehead and the sides of the lines. Many many months ago I developed an indent that feels like theres a bump over right eyebrow, two vertical lines over left eye and a bumpy overall appearance of forehead . The doctor said this seems like other muscles compensate for the weaker ones. They persist even after Botox has worn off. I feel as if its permanently altered. What can be done? Would filler help?
One year ago, I had Botox injected into my forehead (upper + lower), plus a small injection of Voluma into a scar. A year later, I had Botox injected againjust in the upper forehead. A week later (3 weeks ago), I developed strange indentations. I went back to the doctor who treated me; she said it was most likely muscular, but Im wondering if the residual Voluma from a year ago got pushed up from the Botox since the protrusion is in the same location. What can I do now? My forehead looks crazy
I gotta say they're deep. But I noticed 2 lil bump like a mosquito bite size and they're a lil blue should I be concerned about it? How long does it take to heal? And I also have a pool party to attend is it OKEY to go in the sun and pool? Thanks in advance and have a funday Sunday
Hello doctors! I am very self conscious about my eyebrow ridge. I feel I look very masculine from the side. I am pleased with how I look straight on except minor lines etc. I have my first appt for fillers/botox soon. Is this something they could fill? Is my nose causing the problem? Does my hairline need to be lowered? I was told after a brain MRI I have scar tissue on my sinuses. Could that be causing or adding to the bump? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you for your time!
I had Botox two weeks ago around the eyes, and went in for a touch up last Thursday, January 10th. On Saturday, January 12th, I woke up with a puffy, blue bump, making me look like I had a black eye. It is now 5 days later and the blue bump has not gone away. When I smile, the bump pushes up into a bumpy wrinkle, and makes me have very crepey skin. Any idea why this would happen and have suggestions or advice? It looks horrible and Im very upset....
I just massaged it for a second or two, but now I'm spooked that I've done something wrong. I don't know how long I should have waited to touch the area but I guess I was trying to massage out the soreness a little or see if I could get the bump to go down a little. It is right where the needle went in. It kind of feels like a bruise, I guess. Did I just mess up my results? Is 2 days enough time to get a facial massage or do some heavy duty exfoliation, too? Thanks!
