The first week of February I had Botox for migraines. The injections go in the back of my head, at the hairline of my forehead and just above my nose in between my eyes. About 3 days after I woke myself up trying to get a full breath through my nose. This happened 2 nights in a row. The next day I woke up with a swollen nose and cheeks. The major swelling went down but I still having swelling in my nasal lining and inner eyes. I can feel fluid when I press on the sides of my nose or eyes.

Thank you for your question. There is no problem with the Botox itself after dying your hair, but the chemicals from the hair dye may or may not irritate the injection sites, which could lead to discomfort in the area. I would recommend waiting a few days just in case. Hope this helps.
Botox effects are temporary and typically wear off over three to four months, so continuing to experience issues this far from injection would not be likely. If you are not comfortable with your neurologist's assessment you may want to discuss it with another physician. Be sure to explain...
If you are still recovering from your dental surgery you may want to wait until you have healed before considering Botox treatment due to swelling. I encourage you to speak to your provider for specific time frames as opinions may vary.
