When my face is relaxed as normal, i feel it looks in even and pushed forward. From the side it also looks like it's dropping down, it's almost like I'm frowning. My main question is what I could do to make my lips look wider and more symmetrical to the rest of face. I would definitely prefer something like Botox, if that is possible, rather than a surgical fix. Thank you for your time and help!
Im very insecure about one spot of my forehead that is sunken in. I was considering getting dermal filler for it, but I heard that its very dangerous and can cause blindness. I also was curious about Botox because I have to intentionally lift my brows throughout the day or I look mad because they are naturally positioned lower. If those muscles were to relax, would that lessen the horizontal indent of my forehead?
Hello, I have a horizontal line above my upper lip, I have heard it referred to as a 2nd smile line also. Ive tried a small amount of Botox but it did not work. Filler in that space seems like it would look very unnatural. How do you treat this? Wondering if botox was not used on the right muscles. Its apparently not something my clinician has seen very often so Im hoping theres insight here. Thanks
Hi, 3 months ago I had my second Botox treatment for bruxism. 4 weeks after I went back to evaluate, and the doctor added some more. The same night I noticed the left corner of my mouth was frozen, and since then I have not been able to curve the corner of my mouth when I smile. My doctor said the Botox probably migrated to the risorius muscle, but that it is weird that I saw an effect on my smile the same day. Does this mean something else is causing the crooked smile, such as a damaged nerv?
I had my first botox done 3 months ago. It created a dent in the middle of my head. The doctor said the dent is just due to my head shape and there isnt much he can do about it. (He also suggested NOT to get filler) I never had the dent before botox. I am more insecure now than i was before i had botox because the dent is really visible in certain lights and looks horrible. Any suggestions?
I am 57 yrs old and have frown lines/creases between my eyebrows (an inherited trait from my mom) to the extent that my relaxed expression appears unhappy. I had my first botox injections (3), 12units, 6 weeks ago and its already wearing off. My daughter's wedding is 3 mos away and I want to repeat the treatment but it's costly. Should I do it now before it wears off entirely or wait until closer to the wedding? What would provide the best result? I've also read about other injectables similar to botox.
I got Botox for the first time 7 days ago by a board certified dermotologist who I go to regularly. So far I hate the feeling of Botox and my right eye has been feeling heavier and stranger than my left eye. I still have swelling under my eyes, forehead feels tight and I am terrified I will get a droopy eye or eyebrow droop on my right side. Do you think this could still happen ? My dermo is away this week and I am so anxious. Can you tell if a droop is coming ?
I recently received botox injections for cervical dystonia of the neck. I have been sick with bad sinus infection. My doctor put me on medrol 4 mg dosepack and clindamycin 300 mg twice a day. Are these medications safe after having botox injections?
Have descrupture in my neck on 3 places, often stiff neck, sternocleidomastoideus, pressure in head. worried I've ruined it cause after I had a sitting massage, squeezed, massaged my neck, throat, sternomasteiodeus hard and on triggerpoints, I sudden felt a tingling in my face, and like something moved from glabellar and over brow down on the side of the eye and down to the cheek, as if it was either relaxing OR botox migrating? Im 4 days post botox. what do you think that was? Very worried
