After I received Botox injections today for my migraines the doctor told me not to apply ice or heat for 1 or 2 days. I researched it and everything I read said that the ice should be okay. If I get a migraine I wrap ice packs around my head and I'm worried if that happens in the next 2 days that I won't be able to do that. Can someone please help me?
Today I recieved prp for hair and Botox for the first time in my forehead. Hours later I start noticing swelling on my forehead. Looks like the fluid is coming down from my hair line. But I'm concerned about the Botox. Will this impact the Botox or possibly move it to other areas??
I just got 20 units Botox for the 11 area yesterday, my first time ever. The doctor said I needed an appointment for 2 weeks later to retouch the area. I'm not finding this practice being mentioned anywhere else. Is this a common to have to pay for a retouch so soon?
I gotta say they're deep. But I noticed 2 lil bump like a mosquito bite size and they're a lil blue should I be concerned about it? How long does it take to heal? And I also have a pool party to attend is it OKEY to go in the sun and pool? Thanks in advance and have a funday Sunday
I had a Botox injection (8 units) for the first time yesterday, for the frown lines between my brows. I was wondering, why I was told to exercise the injected muscle frequently by scowling for the following two days? I thought that the muscle is supposed to be paralyzed, not being exercised. I asked my doctor and she said it's for working the Botox into the muscle. Can someone (preferrably a doctor) give me some more input on this matter because it does not make sense to me. Thank you.
After treatment I walked home, a 10 minute walk. Walked very slow, but my heart rate kept going up to 90-100 for about 1 hour. When I got home I got in to an argument, got stressed, could feel my blood pressure rising, heart pumping for about 15 minutes. So question is: Since it was within 30 minutes post treatment, can the walk of 10 minutes, high pulse, and raise of the blood pressure, hard mimic make it migrate? Im usually super careful, this was unexpected of many reasons. Thanks
I hady first Botox injection today. Between my brows and a tiny bit on forehead. Now above each brow (symmetrically) I have bumps. Almost like a mosquito bite or cystic pimple (what I call underground pimple) with no redness. Just the two bumps. Looking at my profile, it looks like I have a strong brow. It has been about 8 hours. What is this?
So I just had my first time dose of Botox for my crows feet. It was very small, only 3 units each side. I didn't even think about it but I am traveling this weekend and have already paid for a non-refundable facial with microdermabrasion. I didn't even realize I may have to wait since I'm a newbie to all of this. Should I still be ok to have the facial?
I received Botox between my eyebrows, I accidentally pressed on a bump 1 1/2 hours after the injection above my eyebrow. Enough to feel pain and realize it was a Botox bump. I was wondering if it was a pimple. I am nervous that my pressure would cause the Botox to migrate 90 minutes after injection. I dont want droopy eyelid.
