I had a body lift 9 weeks ago and after the third week my legs started to go back to the way they looked before surgery. Why did they relax so much? Was there anything that could have been done to prevent them from relaxing back to the way they were? My doctor tells me they could be swallon and to wait it out. I know i did picked one of the best doctors for the surgery and that is what makes it even more upsetting. Thank you in advance for your advise.
I had lower body lift almost two months ago and I feel a bump in my incision like a pin and when I touch or lay on my back it hurts but there is no open wound or anything can you please let me know if it's normal thanks
I've been diligent about wearing my garment and for the last week or so I've not wearing it as much and either wearing spanx shorts or just underwear. I've noticed now that I'm a bit achy, the incision area is fairly sensitive and there has been some minor pain after weening myself off of the compression garment. Do these symptoms mean I should still wear it 24:7 or is this just normal?
I had a 360 total body lift. I went to the surgeon to see if I was a candidate since I weighed 163 lbs and had never lost a drastic amount of weight to have any extra skin. I mainly wanted the stubborn belly fat removed. I have tried every diet and exercise with no results so surgery was a last resort. I am 2 months post OP and I literally look exactly the same. Will I see results soon? How long until I could see maximum results? I'm super frustrated.
I had a lower body lift 2 mo ago and am unhappy with the results. There was no lipo done to my stomach, only to my flanks (and just a bit) and I don't feel the skin was pulled taut enough above the navel, causing for bunched skin... What can I do? I need a revision for the back already where 2 went uncut and is now puffy of excess skin. Also is that a dogear in the one pic?
I had surgery March 1st. At first the drains werent working so they took them out. Within 2 days, my stomach filled up again and the drains had to be put back in. My incision opened up and I had to pack it. Its now so deformed and Im wondering if it will go away eventually or if itll always be like this. If its going to stay like this, should I request a modification?
I have some mild pain in my upper abdominal muscle on one side only that only started 3 days ago. It is not constant - it only hurts in certain positions (and is relieved a lot from putting my binder back on). I followed all post operative instructions. What could it be? Ill be seeing my PS in a few days but would value some additional options now. Thank you.
I had a lower body lift 7 weeks ago and look and feel amazing, however, I am now having pain during sexual intercourse, which I have never had prior to the surgery. Will this go away? Is this normal because everything got lifted? I waited for 8 weeks after c sections and didn't have any discomfort. It is making me alittle nervous as nobody on Realself is complaining about this. I had a very active sex life prior to surgery and want to get back to it.
I am 10 weeks post op of a body lift. I had a Seroma after surgery, my surgeon says all fluid has been removed and he has no issues with my recovery (8 weeks post op). I am unable to get in contact with my surgeon and nurse as they are now on holidays. Any advise would be much appreciated.
