I suffer from acne and also have blackheads on my nose. I have been using tretinoin for years. I use it every night and apply it all over my face. I also use clindamycin gel cream for my face in the morning--but I stopped using it on my nose. I started using Paula's Choice 2% BHA on my nose in the mornings. But I still don't see much of a difference on my nose. What should I do?
My skin is perfectly clear at this point and i'm mostly just focused on spotting on my back.I've been taking 20mg for 1 month,40 for 2,and 80 for 1 month.I'm 5'0 and 103 pounds with mostly just cystic acne on my back from time to time... but other than that i just get blackheads and bumps from facial hair. Anyways my skin is clear right now but i wonder if when i stop because its 2 months early will my skin just go back to the way it was?
I have severe acne on back, my back is full of acne but my face has less acne i.e 1-2 acne in week should I go on take accutane? I have acne since 14 i took almost every medicine but nothing worked. Products improved my face acne but my back acne is becoming worse day by day? Should i go on accutane? Or it is only for face?I also have acne and blackheads on face but lesser than my back. Also is the effect of accutane on our liver is dangerous for long term and will it cause problems in future on my liver or it will be gone when treatment completed?
I'm 50 and have suffered with acne all my life. Although it is somewhat under control now, I still get cystic acne (about 1 a month). I also have blackheads on my nose and some are larger and stubborn - they'll sometimes turn into zits but just never go away. My derm suggest I try isotretinoin for 1 month (30mg) but I've read that it's only effective if taken for several months. Any thoughts on taking isotretinoin for only 30 days? Thanks.
Ive stumbled watching videos on Youtube about accutane, after the results from people online and a little bit of research, I am highly considering taking accutane but Im unsure whether or not the situation of my face is suggested by dermatologists to consider take accutane, though Ive tried multiple methods to remove my acne, whiteheads, and blackheads. All failed or I gave up on trying, hoping that accutane can be the solution to my problems!
I have terrible blackheads everywhere which look like extremely large, dirty pores. I have put up with these for so long and I cant remember a time when they were this bad. I can squeeze my cheeks/forehead constantly and sebum comes out, however the pores always end up becoming clogged again. I have just started roaccutane and I take two 20mg tablets a day. Will roaccutane have a direct effect on my blackheads at all?
