Currently a B cup with 310cc implants, 10 years post op - would 450 or 500cc help me achieve a C/D cup? (photos)

You can try sizers to see what your predicted result may be. Sizers are implants that you can fit into your bra. From 450-550cc, subtract the size of your current implants (310cc).

Hi,Of course, we can replace your implants with 450-500cc ones. However, there is some asymmetry in your breasts. While it may not be possible to completely correct it, we will aim to make them as even as possible. After placing the implants, we will evaluate whether the nipple-areola complexes are symmetrical. If there is any noticeable asymmetry or if they appear lower than they should, a lift procedure can be performed.

Hello, we could achieve a C/D cup by changing your implants with new ones around 500cc. On the other hand I would recommend an asymmetric approach because you have an asymmetry for the volumes of breasts. This could be different sized implants on both sides, or same implants and fat injection combination. As your folds are defined enough, a 4cm fold incision would be a good option to do these. breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Hi and thanks for your question. You are a good candidate for breast implant. I recommend round implant with dual plane technique for you. Round implant can give a more natural result with upper pole fullness for your case. You have not enough breast tissue, because of this I recommend dual plane technique for you. In this technique upper part of implant is covered by chest muscle and breast tissue, lower part of the implant is covered by breast tissue. With this combination you can get good result. This operation takes 1.5 hours and can be done under the general anesthesia. You should stay one night at the hospital to get rid of the anesthetic drugs affect. After surgery you should use sports bra and breast band for 6 weeks. Two weeks after the surgery you can start sports but you should wait for 6 weeks to use your arm strongly.

Since you have less breast tissue, it's likely that the implants were placed under the muscle. If you want a larger breast volume now, the first implants likely stretched the skin, so it may be possible to place implants around 450-500 cc. However, as the implants increase in size, their weight will also increase, and the time before sagging due to gravity will shorten. Therefore, if you are considering larger implants, I would recommend choosing B-lite implants, which are 30% lighter than regular implants of the same volume due to the difference in manufacturing. A 500 cc regular implant weighs 500 grams, while a 500 cc B-lite implant weighs 350 grams. This means there will be less gravitational effect on the breasts.

Just based on photos and not examination or measurements, you are too small for 500 cc implants and I doubt your tissue will support such weight. Please go and try them on so you can feel the heavy weight on your neck and shoulders.

It appears from your photos that you are a good candidate for an implant exchange. You should be able to achieve a C/D cup with this. Your board certified plastic surgeon will help select the right implant to achieve the size you are wanting. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.
