Is this Pseudobursa? (photo)

Question

Surgery 2/5/21 tummy tuck with muscle repair, no drains (never had kids) Left pic taken on April 3 2021 Right pic taken on October 5 2021 Why is this getting worse and not better? Is this a pseudo bursa? Doc saw me in June - did not address my concerns - just said to give it more time. This is getting worse. What is happening?!

This is difficult to answer without a physical exam one. A good maneuver you can try at home is gently tapping the area to see if there is a "water bed" effect or rippling of the skin versus the normal bounce of skin. The water bed effect would suggest a fluid collection below. It is also possible the tissue is settling after surgery.

Hey!It's hard to tell without proper examination, but I suggest entering into a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber as soon as possible to get oxygen to the area. Please ask a physician if you can be cleared to do so. You need oxygen and blood flow to the area to heal naturally. I believe from a far, this would help without looking at you with full exam. Take care!

It could be a couple of reasons for your abdomen to be more swollen, including weight gain or fluid. I would suggest going back to your surgeon and being checked.
