Can glutathione and hydroquinone be used together?

Hello, I have a question. Can glutathione and hydroquinone be used together, or do they have adverse effects against one another? If they do, then can I supplement glutathione after I am finished with hydroquinone to maintain results? I am looking for a doctor who knows about skin lightening in hope of working with them on my skin.

Glutathione is often used in oral or injectable form to achieve a systemic lightening effect, while hydroquinone is typically used topically for spot treatments. Therefore, in theory, these two substances could be used together for a more comprehensive approach to skin lightening.
However, it's important to note that both substances have potential side effects. Long-term use of hydroquinone can lead to a condition called ochronosis, which causes the skin to become dark and thick. There are also concerns about the safety of long-term systemic use of glutathione for skin lightening.
