Hi there! I had a CO2 fractional laser procedure for hypertrophic scars on the face (chin area and corner of the mouth - upper jaw). I am Caucasian, blonde, type II skin, prone to hyperpigmentation (freckles on the face). The hypertrophic scars are from car accident. The procedure hurt - doctor told me she used a high intensity and did multiple passes. My face is very red (2nd degree burn like). What should be the treatment to accelerate healing and minimize potential scarring/hyperpigm?
