I have treated many patients and studied and participated in multiple studies. Sculpsure does not affect your body's ability to loose weight.  I have noticed and many of my patients have reported so that they tend to loose more weight after their sculpsure treatment because it provides them an additional boost after they see their body change for the better in very resistant areas. You are encouraged to continue your regular exercise routine and stay hydrated.It will not interfere with your results as all, but rather improve them.  If you are worried about loose skin, it is very unlikely to be caused by a non invasive method like SculpSure, but the real answer depends on your current stomach and the skin quality. SculpSure will not impede weight loss, but it should never be used as a weight loss treatment.  SculpSure was designed to contour problematic areas of fat that do not yield with traditional dieting or exercise. It provides a nice non-surgical option for patients who cannot afford the downtime associated with surgery.  On average patients will lose up to 25% of body fat in the treated areas while the heat emitted from the laser can work to firm and taut the skin.  If you are interested in the procedure, I recommend you have a consultation with a practice who is fully qualified and trained in this procedure.

Sculpsure is a noninvasive laser treatment that removes up to 25% of stubborn fat in the treated area in 25 minutes.It is FDA approved for the abdomen and flanks. It is safe if you get pregnant in the future.The body contouring effects are seen in as quick as six weeks with final results at 12 weeks. The results are permanent as long as you maintain your weight and health.The laser targets and destroys the fat cells only which are then naturally removed from the body. Since the laser does not affect the skin or muscle it can be used on all skin colors and there has been no reported incidents of burns when treated by a properly trained physician. It has four applicators that can be customized to treat the areas of stubborn fat. If a second treatment is needed we wait at least six weeks and usually closer to 12. There is no downtime and you can resume your normal activities right after the treatment. There may be some soreness in the area for a few days for which you can take ibuprofen or tylenol. A cold compress can also be used.Sculpsure is not used for skin tightening however some of her patients have seen this. If more skin tightening is needed we have combined this with thermi or Ulthera for a complete treatment. Having a SculpSure treatment should not make it more difficult to lose fat and weight after the procedure.  A single SculpSure treatment session will normally cause about 24% of the fat cells in the treated area to be destroyed over time.  Body metabolism should not be affected by the procedure as well.  If the skin of the abdomen (stomach) is not loose before the treatment, it should not become loose or flabby after the procedure.

fat or stubborn areas of fat. There is no way of telling exactly how many
pounds each patient will lose after each treatment. Patients that are normal to
overweight will see the best results over patients that are obese. Additionally
SculpSure helps promote collagen or elastin production for tighter skin when
the fat cells are heated up with the laser. There are no affects to your
