SculpSure Eliminating Fat

SculpSure’s non-surgical 25 minute procedure uses light-based technology to permanently destroy up to 24% of treated fat in problem areas. Over time, these damaged fat cells are naturally absorbed and removed from the body, with results seen as quickly as six weeks, and optimal results typically seen at 12 weeks. The fat cells fall apart and are liquefied, thereby selectively destroying these fat cells. The disintegrated fat cells then pass through the liver. So your body processes it just like you ate a fatty meal, and it’s excreted naturally as waste.

Where the fat goes after SculpSure

Thank you for your question. During the SculpSure procedure, the fat cells are heated which causes them to detach from your inner tissues. Once they’ve been detached, the body considers them unnecessary tissue and will filter them through your body just as they would any other loose tissue or particles. The fat will dissipate naturally.

Fat clearance after Sculpsure

No one knows the exact mechanism of how fat is cleared but in general, the damaged fat cells are absorbed by the white cells (immune system) and then travel throught the lymphatics and blood stream to be processed by the kidneys and liver.

SculpSure is safe

The disrupted fat cells are readily cleared by the amazing immune system are body's are equipped with.  The human body replaces and eliminates millions of cells on a daily basis, there is nothing to worry about with the clearance of the dead fat cells after a SculpSure treatment.

Lymphatic System

SculpSure uses a specific wavelength that targets fat cells. During the SculpSure treatment, fat cells are permanently destroyed, which are then removed from the body naturally through the lymphatic system.

Destroyed cells filtered

The damaged fat cells will be removed into the lymphatics and placed through the blood stream and filtered through the kidneys. Hydration is important post procedure for this purpose.

What happens to fat cells after SculpSure?

SculpSure damages the fat cells by heating them up above a temperature they can survive. Like with all damaged cells in your body, the lymphatic system cleans up the cells, sending the chemical components to be reused in creating new cells, or to be eliminated via urine. In this case, the fat is eliminated, and the cellular structures that can be “recycled” by the body will be used to make different kinds of cells. You are born with a set number of fat cells. If you eat more calories than your body needs, your fat cells stretch to store these extra calories as triglycerides. You may even gain new fat cells when the cells have enlarged to their maximum size.

How exactly is it eliminated?

The laser breaks down the fat cells damaging the structure of the cell.  Then the fat cells are eliminated through your bodies lymphatic system. This is a slow process which takes several weeks to complete.  Results take up to 12 weeks.

Thank you

After a session of Sculpsure, where exactly does the fat go? How exactly is it eliminated?

Treatment by SculpSure leads to fat cell injury and death.  The body's natural inflammatory process then breaks down these fat cells and eliminates them through the lymphatic system.  This process is gradual and that's why it takes several weeks to see results from the treatment.

Sculpsure

Thank you for your question. The sculpsure laser melts the fat cells. Over the next 6 to 12 weeks your body naturally absorbs these cells and removes them through your lymphatic system.
