After a session of Sculpsure, where exactly does the fat go? How exactly is it eliminated?

Hi and thank you for your question! After a session with SculpSure your body goes in naturally eliminates the dead fat cells through your immune system.  This is not an immediate process and will occur gradually over a period of about 3 months.

Thank you for your question. SculpSure uses innovative laser technology to disrupt subcutaneous fat cells, heating them and then destroying all of them. No one knows the exact mechanism of how fat is cleared but in general, the damaged fat cells are absorbed by the white cells (immune system) and then travel throught the lymphatics and blood stream to be processed by the kidneys and liver.

SculpSure damages the fat cells
by heating them up above a temperature they can survive. Like with all damaged
cells in your body, the lymphatic system cleans up the cells, sending the
chemical components to be reused in creating new cells, or to be eliminated via
urine. In this case, the fat is eliminated, and the cellular structures that
can be “recycled” by the body will be used to make different kinds of cells. You are born with a set number of fat cells. If you eat more calories
than your body needs, your fat cells stretch to store these extra calories as
triglycerides. You may even gain new fat cells when the cells have enlarged to
their maximum size.

Treatment by SculpSure leads to fat cell injury and death.  The body's natural inflammatory process then breaks down these fat cells and eliminates them through the lymphatic system.  This process is gradual and that's why it takes several weeks to see results from the treatment.

The fat cells that are destroyed from a SculpSure treatment are eliminated through cells called macrophages that are part of the lymphatic system.  

Once the fat cells are killed by the laser, the dead cells are naturally eliminated, the same as other bodily waste, by your lymphatic system. Hope this helps.
