I currently use mentor 600cc textured. I have an active lifestyle. Is textured suited for me who's active? I didnt had any breast tissues to begin with. Im thinking going 800cc under muscle and I wonder if Arion is recommended? Which brands are preferable?
Answer: Best Breast implants I have been performing breast augmentation for 30 years and have used many different styles and types of implants to satisfy 97% if my patients. Currently the fifth generation breast implants with texture appear to have slight advantage over the others currently FDA approved in the USA. I have removed many French breast implants that failed. Mentor makes a very good product as well as Allergan. I have sizers and 3 D Vectra imaging to help patients decide on the best size change available. Find a board certified ASAPS plastic surgeon. Good luck….

Answer: Best breast implants? Is Arion recommended? I think that you will likely do well with any of the currently FDA approved breast implants. In my opinion, far more important than the specific breast implant manufacturer utilized will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon and careful communication of your goals. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your chosen plastic surgeon to work with you in determining the best plan to achieve your goals. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to larger breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: #bestbreastimplants for my #breastaugmentation #plasticsurgery Thank you for sharing your excellent question about which are the best breast implants. I would strongly urge you to use breast implants that are FDA approved and have gone through rigorous testing. In our office we currently offer Natrelle silicone gel, shaped gel, inspira and Mentor. Consider meeting with a plastic surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) who operate in AAAA-SF certified surgical facilities. I hope this is helpful and wish you all the best. -Brian S. Coan, MD, FACS
