I am getting a session of microneedling with prp while I still have active hormonal acne on my jaw line. My aesthetician told me the plasma would help heal my active acne therefore it would be safe to perform. I thought it's best to perform the procedure after my active acne heals so I won't spread bacteria around my face. Please advise, thank you.

Answer: Clearing Acne & Skin With Peels, Lasers, microneedling/prp, skin care
If your skin is completely healed from the microneedling then I would assume it is safe to use the skin bleach to the affected areas of your skin. Best, Dr. Green
I don't recommend performing microneedling on yourself. These procedures should be done by an expert. I always combine microneedling with prp and laser treatments to get the best results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
In addition to Botox, fillers, lasers and microneedling/prp can all improve forehead wrinkles. For the tummy tuck scar, I recommend a combination of lasers and microneedling/prp. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
