I recieved a facial at a doctors office and they suggested a microcurrent add on. Unfortunately I agreed to the treatment and it immediately left my eyes looking hollow and tired. This was about 8 months ago and the effect persists. I'm not sure what is contributing to the older, tired look that I have but I am wondering if the micro current damaged the skin or underlying tissue. Is this possible? The doctors office has no explanation. They just say it "wasn't supposed to happen". Thank you.

Yes. The basis for most non-surgical facelifts are Botox and some form of filler. Neither of which will adversely affect your birthmark. I often combine this with the Profound RF which again, shouldn't be a problem.

There are not a lot of non-surgical options for treating the platysma bands. Botox is your best bet. In order to maintain the results, you will need to be treated every 4-6 months.
