Currently taking dutasteride, toradol for back pain, and I use marijuana time to time not heavy. I'm going next week for PRP injection for hairloss. They said if blood is not good they will turn me away and keep some of my money.
Answer: PRP medications PRP protocols are still evolving, but before any type of injections such as PRP or fillers, etc..., one should avoid any medications that thin the blood, block platelet action, or interfere with the coagulation profile to minimize the chance of bruising/hematoma formation.

Answer: Medications to avoid before PRP You can take Tylenol for pain, but avoid all anti-inflammatory medications such as aspirin, Advil, Ibuprofen as well as any blood thinning agents such as Vitamin E, Vitamin A, ginko, garlic, flax, cod liver oil 7 days prior to your procedure. Also any multivitamins should be avoided. Marijuana, smoking, and alcohol should be avoided 3 days prior to PRP.
