I have 750 cc mod plus silicone under muscle implants. The implant that I can see and feel moving is not on my dominant side. It's not a major deformity but noticeable. Is there something I have done wrong in the healing process to cause this? Is there something I can do to decrease this? I am 3 mo post.

Answer: Moving breast implant? Hello amyrn. Congratulations on your breast augmentation. You have very large breast implants and any small muscle movement will be far more noticeable under the circumstances. The condition you have is called animation. I don't believe there is anything that you did wrong. Our bodies were not designed to have a breast implant under the muscle despite the obvious benefits. Your PS can go back an release more muscle, but the potential side effect of doing is is bottoming out. Unless the condition is very noticeable, it might not be worth the risks. Discuss your concerns with your PS. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

Answer: Flexion under the muscle Almost all implants under the muscle may cause some flexion issues. If it is minor, then I would not worry about it. If concerned, discuss with your surgeon.
