One eyelid is droopy. How can it be fixed? (Photo)

Hi. One of my eyelids is droopy and the other one is fine and it makes me look tired. Can madonna eye lift work on this? Any other solutions? I m 39. Thanks. Kavita. second picture is when i smile.

You seem to be describing a problem that we repair by elevating and tightening the corner of your eyelid (canthoplasty).  Please see a surgeon with expertise in lateral canthoplasty.

First, it is likely that you did not need chalazia surgery .  Many of these lesions melt away with an injection of steroids.  The conflict is that doctors make more money operating on the eyelid than they do injecting the eyelid.  I only operate on chalzia that do not respond to...

You have a significant ptosis of both upper eyelids.  You also have a very deep upper eyelid sulcus, which makes the eyelid appear very long.  Most people have some fat up there, which creates the crease and gives volume to the upper lid.  It would be helpful to see a picture...

It may be related to hollowness.  An analogy is:  letting air out of a balloon causes it to deflate with "wrinkles".  That can be improved by filler or fat injection. See an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation.

Mrs Magellan,Puffy fat can be repositioned safely without an external incision especially in someone your age or the layers that hold the fat in can be tightened to give you a smoother look.  It may be however that you really need some filling beneath the eyelids to improve your cheek/lid...

I would have left the dehised would alone.  They close fairly rapidly on their own and generally do not warrant surgical intervention.  Some believe this is a sign of an infection or some issue.  As mentioned this often clears up on their own with minimal would care in the form of...
